We set out to do a show on subverting expectations–narrative and otherwise–but our conversation with TV writer Chris Harris took a slightly different direction and ended up (wait for it) subverting our expectations. WHAT.

"Why would they end a series like that? They're not supposed to. You CAN'T end a series like that. You just cannot end a series that way." – my daughter verbatim after watching the final show. (I'm used to it, having every one of my favorite shows prematurely cancelled since "Nowhere Man").
On a side note, each interview you've done with Chris Harris has ended up with us completely watching a TV series because of it. Can't wait for the third interview!
Thanks, Scott! I don't know how old your daughter is, but hopefully dealing with the heartbreak of cancelled TV shows will prepare her for worse things later in life. 😉
