{"id":951,"date":"2009-08-03T20:38:00","date_gmt":"2009-08-04T03:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtiscchen.com\/journal\/2009\/08\/03\/puzzles-in-portland\/"},"modified":"2009-08-03T20:38:00","modified_gmt":"2009-08-04T03:38:00","slug":"puzzles-in-portland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.curtiscchen.com\/journal\/2009\/08\/03\/puzzles-in-portland\/","title":{"rendered":"Puzzles in Portland"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During our time in the bay area, DeeAnn and I ran several puzzle hunt events (<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Game_%28treasure_hunt%29\">&#8220;The Game&#8221;<\/a>) with <a href=\"http:\/\/snout.org\/game\/\">Team Snout<\/a>, and now we&#8217;re starting a new tradition in Portland&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re collaborating with Game Controls (GCs) in nine cities across the US to create a one-day, walking puzzle hunt called <a href=\"http:\/\/playdash.org\/\">DASH (Different Area, Same Hunt)<\/a>.  Each city is contributing one puzzle, and players in every city will solve the same set of puzzles on the same day&#8211;albeit in different locations.<\/p>\n<p>Interested?
