Hugs and kisses, me.)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style:italic;\">Rules: Don&#8217;t take too long to think about it. Fifteen movies you&#8217;ve seen that will always stick with you. First fifteen you can recall in no more than fifteen minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B002I9Z8AS\/curtiscchensfree\">Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan<\/a><br \/><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Khaaaaaan!<\/span><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B000UJ48SG\/curtiscchensfree\">2001: A Space Odyssey<\/a><br \/>Confused me for a long time until I realized the entire film was all about food and eating.  Watch it again, you&#8217;ll see what I mean.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B000FQJAIW\/curtiscchensfree\">Star Wars<\/a><br \/>The first movie I can remember seeing in a theatre.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B0000640SA\/curtiscchensfree\">Memento<\/a><br \/>A simple story told in a complicated way.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B000AP04L0\/curtiscchensfree\">Office Space<\/a><br \/>D and I saw this movie because we ran into some friends of ours in line at the theatre, and it&#8217;s what they were going to see.  We were very pleasantly surprised.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B00004BZIY\/curtiscchensfree\">The Sixth Sense<\/a><br \/>Still M. Night Shyamalan&#8217;s best film.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B00009W0WM\/curtiscchensfree\">Casablanca<\/a><br \/>Bogie was always at his best when playing antiheroes.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B00000JSJC\/curtiscchensfree\">Strange Days<\/a><br \/>Not an entirely successful modern <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">film noir<\/span>, but I love the atmosphere.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0780623223\/curtiscchensfree\">Zero Effect<\/a><br \/>I still wish someone had bought the pilot and made a TV series out of this, but I guess <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">House<\/span> is an acceptable compromise.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B000FVQM2Y\/curtiscchensfree\">Brick<\/a><br \/>Old-school <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">noir<\/span> laid on so thick it&#8217;s like <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">butta<\/span>.  Joseph Gordon-Levitt (<span style=\"font-style:italic;\">Third Rock from the Sun<\/span>) acts the hell out of this role (and his character in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B000QFCD8Q\/curtiscchensfree\">The Lookout<\/a>&mdash;kid&#8217;s got some chops).<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B000HEWEJO\/curtiscchensfree\">It&#8217;s a Wonderful Life<\/a><br \/>How I met my wife.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B001S86J0I\/curtiscchensfree\">Galaxy Quest<\/a><br \/>Another pleasant surprise.  D and I saw this on Christmas Day, not expecting much, and we got a grand adventure.  Also the film debut of young Justin Long (&#8220;I&#8217;m a Mac&#8221;).<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B000YDOOHI\/curtiscchensfree\">Earth vs. the Flying Saucers<\/a><br \/>Watched in half-hour increments during high school lunch periods.  After the climactic battle, I made a comment about a &#8220;phallic victory,&#8221; when I actually meant to say &#8220;Pyrrhic victory.&#8221;  Eh, I was a teenage boy.
