(I gave up on the show last year, so I&#8217;m a little behind.)  Of course, she can also convert those sounds into concussive energy blasts.  <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">Of course.<\/span>  I will refrain from calling her &#8220;Deaf Dazzler:&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"480\" height=\"295\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/CIzlhcuOqao&#038;hl=en_US&#038;fs=1&#038;\"><\/param><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><\/param><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/CIzlhcuOqao&#038;hl=en_US&#038;fs=1&#038;\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" width=\"480\" height=\"295\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p>The medical term for this is <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Synesthesia#Sound_.E2.86.92_color_synesthesia\">sound-color synesthesia<\/a>, and the condition has also been featured on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.televisionwithoutpity.com\/show\/house\/the_right_stuff.php\"><span style=\"font-style:italic;\">House<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s pretty freaky to think about what it would be like to live in a world where everything you <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">heard<\/span> was instead redirected to your <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">sight<\/span>.
