My two key takeaways from this movie<\/a>:<\/p>\n

  1. Meaghan Martin<\/a> is unreasonably cute and talented.<\/li>\n
  2. Her character’s father was played by the same actor who played Johnny Cage in the Mortal Kombat<\/i> movie.*<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Anyway. I did not watch Mean Girls 2<\/i> because I am a twelve-year-old girl<\/a>; I watched it because it was written by Allison Schroeder<\/a>, the other winner of this year’s SIE script competition<\/a>, and I was curious about her previous work.<\/p>\n

    Allison’s winning script, an hourlong drama titled “Atomic,” is described thusly:<\/p>\n

    Scientists and their wives struggle with the gravity of their top secret work in Los Alamos and Hanford on the Manhattan Project in the 1940s.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    Science in wartime? YES. I’m looking forward to seeing that at the June 15th table reading almost as much as my own script.<\/p>\n
