I&#8217;m a terrible person.)<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re a SF\/F convention-goer, here are some 2016 events I&#8217;m definitely attending and which I would recommend to any fan:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.norwescon.org\/con\/\">Norwescon 39<\/a> (March) &#8211; my kick-ass agent <a href=\"http:\/\/awfulagent.com\/agents\/sam-morgan\">Sam Morgan<\/a> will be there<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/westercon69.org\/\">Westercon 69<\/a> (July) &#8211; I volunteered to be Scalzi&#8217;s GOH liaison, so get used to hearing me say &#8220;COKE ZERO OR GTFO&#8221;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/midamericon2.org\/\">Worldcon 74: MidAmeriCon II<\/a> (August) &#8211; everything&#8217;s up to date in Kansas City<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/38.orycon.org\/\">OryCon 38<\/a> (November) &#8211; down by the river<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A few others are undecided, but watch my <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/curtiscchen\">author Twitter stream<\/a> for announcements.<\/p>\n<p>Plus my friend <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/clairebmused\">Claire Humphrey<\/a> and I are working on a mini-book tour for our debut novels this June (<a href=\"http:\/\/us.macmillan.com\/books\/9781250076342\"><i>Spells of Blood and Kin<\/i><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.waypointkangaroo.com\/\"><i>Waypoint Kangaroo<\/i><\/a>, respectively). More details on that as we figure it out.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m also like 90% sure I&#8217;m going to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.creationent.com\/cal\/st_lasvegas.html\">Star Trek 50th anniversary thing<\/a> in Las Vegas this August.
