Just signed the contract last night! Plus, according to the back cover copy, I may also be one of &#8220;some of the best writers working in the field today.&#8221;  Aw, shucks.<\/p>\n<p>In related news, I&#8217;ve been reading Weston Ochse&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ISBN=1250007356\/curtiscchensfree\"><i>SEAL Team 666<\/i><\/a>, and I can understand why (1) he&#8217;s an internationally best-selling author and (2) the book was immediately <a href=\"http:\/\/www.publishersweekly.com:8080\/978-1-250-00735-3\">optioned by Metro<\/a>, with <strike>The Rock<\/strike><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/heat-vision\/dwayne-johnson-attached-star-mgms-653871\">Dwayne Johnson attached to star<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/snout.org\/HotSheet\/CKL.jpg\" alt=\"Curtis\" title=\"Curtis\" border=\"0\" height=\"32\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8230;of unsolicited stories which were accepted for publication in Cohesion Press&#8216; upcoming military horror anthology SNAFU.
