Most impressively, even though it features some real nutters, it never pokes fun at them or the video gaming community or makes anyone into a caricature.  A couple of people do come off as real jerks, but they dig their own graves.<\/p>\n<p>The filmmakers are now working on a fictionalized version of the story for New Line Cinema, but here&#8217;s your chance to see the real story, on the big screen, before it gets tarted up by Hollywood.<span style=\"color: rgb(255, 0, 0);\">*<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">ObURLs:<\/span><br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.landmarktheatres.com\/Films\/films_frameset.asp?id=59981\">Showtimes<\/a><br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/billyvssteve.com\/\">Official site<\/a><br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ew.com\/ew\/article\/0,,20052595,00.html?print\">Interview with Steve Wiebe<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(255, 0, 0);\">*<\/span> <span style=\"font-size:85%;\">That said, my dream cast includes Tom Cruise as defending champion <a href=\"http:\/\/snout.org\/hotsheet\/BillyMitchell.jpg\">Billy Mitchell<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/snout.org\/hotsheet\/slither03090605.jpg\">Alan Tudyk<\/a> as challenger <a href=\"http:\/\/snout.org\/hotsheet\/SteveWiebe.jpg\">Steve Wiebe<\/a>.  Alan would need to put on a few pounds, <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">Raging Bull<\/span>-style, and get a dye job; Tom could pretty much just reprise <a href=\"http:\/\/snout.org\/hotsheet\/photo42.JPG\">his character from <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">Magnolia<\/span><\/a>.
